Ceol na mBan
Irish language Radio Show
I am a huge fan of the radio. Perhaps it’s all of those late night drives after concerts?! I always dreamed of having my own radio show and I loved this series I put together for Béal Feirste’s ‘Raidió Fáilte’.
A four part series dedicated to women’s music around the world, featuring a different continent/country in every episode. The show is completely as gaeilge, and could be a great opportunity for you to improve your Irish while having a dance in your kitchen!
Snámh for Palestine
On the 25th of August 2024, I swam from Asia to Europe, six and a half kilometres across the Bosphorus river in Istanbul, Turkey with my sister Tiarna. We raised nearly 12,000 euros for Aclaí, a community gym in the Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem, and the Delia Arts Foundation, who support musicians, artists and their families in Gaza.
Waterworks Stations Sessions
Fleadh, Béal Feirste 2026
The original Stations tradition emerged when secret Mass gatherings were followed by spontaneous celebrations of storytelling, music and dance within local communities.
Drawing inspiration from this history while embracing contemporary interpretation and cultural diversity, the Waterworks Stations Sessions reimagined that spirit of gathering and celebration for a modern audience.
Blending tradition, creativity and community, the Waterworks Stations Sessions transformed the Waterworks parkland into a wandering cultural promenade during Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026.
Pontoons, pathways and lakeside benches became intimate performance spaces, hosting a series of pop-up events set against the backdrop of Binn Mhadagáin (Cave Hill) and the park's natural landscape. Visitors were invited to wander through the park at their own pace, encountering storytellers, traditional musicians, Palestinian dabke dancing, poets and set-dancers along the way.
Featured in multiple media outlets and the renowned Journal of Music, it was one of the highlights of the Fleadh.
